In addition to music, there are other great cultural events going on in Orange County this season . For movie fans , there are two film series going on in the area. The Bowers Museum Film Series you may see Italian cinema or perhaps a recreation of a Chinese village from over 7,000 years ago during this ongoing series. Cinema Orange is the other film series located in Newport Beach and has a variety of films like feature length narratives, shorts and animated pieces of work from the Newport Beach Film Festival.
For those people that enjoy the local theatre in Orange County there are some wonderful productions going on this summer to see . The Laguna Playhouse is putting on a production called “My Way, a Tribute to Frank Sinatra” that celebrates the whole life of the famous blue-eyed singer and performer. Another play to go to should be one of the most favored musicals called “The Music Man” which is put on by a local theatre group called Musical Theatre Village located in Irvine, California. Both of these plays would be a great way to see community theatre in Orange County and to celebrate the actors and actresses that live there.
